Please see blues band website (I often haven't time to get those gigs on my site, and I'm usually with them at least one weekend night each week!) I have space in my music TOTS as well as BABIES class! (Weds. mornings). New class starts January 18th. 2012. Click here to visit Men. After a successful gig, Julie Thompson's High Standards have been invited back to the Lyons Irish Pub in Watertown next year - dates TBA. Great food, owner managed, MAINE ! I've never had a 'bad trip' to Maine - ayah, you guys are cunnin' and wicked friendly and waam (that's 'warm' for the rest of the nation).
Julie Thompson's High Standards thanks Neil Lamb (7 string guitarist) for a string of great shows in Maine this winter. Looking forward to Neil's trip to the midwest this spring for more teaming up. We also recorded a couple more videos for You Tube - I'll send a notice out when they are ready. (are you signed up?)

David HB Drake and Julie Thompson perform songs for everyone in love, from young love to relationships that have stood the test of time. Folks of welcome to sing along with a patchwork quilt of songs that are as warm as a cozy fire on Valentine’s Day. David and Julie are part of the “Dangerous Folk” trio, which has toured the Midwest presenting the classic folk songs of the 50s and 60s. In this concert, David and Julie focus of the “Love” part of “Make Love, not War” and span the music of John Denver, Joni Mitchell, and many contemporary songs that warm the heart.
